On land
Over the past 30 years, we have designed and installed telecommunications networks in countless different locations. The Rauma area with its factories, schools and businesses is a familiar environment for us, but our installations can also be found all over the country:
We design, build and maintain Rauma Energia's fiber optic network, from production to the end user.
We have built FTTH networks (Fiber to the home) in Northern and Eastern Finland.
We are responsible for the operation of domestic operators' backbone networks and access networks.
At sea
The Finnish shipyard industry relies heavily on Juku. We have built telecommunications solutions for numerous ships since 2006. A total of 30 ships have passed through our hands so far, the latest of which is the world's largest cruise ship Star of the Seas, whose data network construction is one of the most significant projects in Juku's history – both in terms of size and the number of different components involved.
In the air
Airborne data traffic is increasing all the time. We design, install and measure WLAN networks as complete solutions. One of our many projects is a WLAN network built for an international operator in the Port of Rauma. For them, it is essential that the network operates comprehensively and reliably throughout the port. The size of the area, which is over a square kilometer, shows the challenge of the installation and measurement work.
